At Knob Noster Academy Kids, it is our mission to provide a solid and secure learning environment for each family! We are committed to the families we serve, and we strive to give parents the peace of mind they are looking for. Our story began in 2017, when our first child, Emerson was born. As my husband and I were searching for childcare we wanted a safe place, and a spot for learning. It was at that moment we both began to plan for what we felt would be the perfect academy for kids! My husband and I have lived in Johnson County, MO for over fifteen years, we have two children, and both have a love for helping others! In 2008 I graduated from University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child & Family Development, with dreams someday I would run my own center. I then obtained my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri in 2017. My passion has always been working with children and their families and I have had the opportunity to do that in many different environments. These have included work through Pathways Behavioral Health, State of Missouri Children's Division, and most recently as the social worker at Sterling Elementary for the Warrensburg School District for the past five years. It is my goal to provide each family I serve with assurance that their child is receiving the best care and gaining real life experiences at the same time. As we continue to build our academy, we hope you are patient with us and also provide us with any feedback you feel would help in making it the best it can be! |
